The Giver Homework Questions:
- Are the trade offs the people have made to get rid of the bad things in life really worth it?
- What would you be willing to give up in order to have a safe, clean, peaceful society in which everyone is happy and cared for?

I don't think these trade offs are necessary to get rid of the bad things. If the community can make some rigorous rules and make sure that everyone obey them, they can also maintain the peace of their community. And people can also create some new ideas when running the trade, which will benefit them.

The Giver presents to us a lot of trade made by the community to get rid of bad things, but those trades don't worth it. First, they represent the end of freedom and they bring the sameness in which everyone is the same, and innovation doesn't exist

It is not worth to get rid of bad things through trade offs. If someone wants to get rid of bad things, it is meant to that that you have to pay corresponding price. The price may be an important thing to one's life. therefore when someone lose the important thing in her or his life, another bad thing will come to.
ReplyDeleteI will give up laziness to get a safe, clean, and peaceful life. Living is the most important thing. Without safe, clean, peaceful society, people is possible to die anytime. Being laborious , changing bad environment, world will be more beautiful .
It is not worth to get rid of bad things through trade offs,because we can not avoid bad things,it is useless if we avoid those difficulties .The goverment or the leaders they will carry out series of laws to regulate peopel's behaviour.Citizenz obey the laws will benefit all society.
